Your bow can not tune itself you have to have it done by a pro. If you think you can do it be careful you can screw up your bow here tuning it. We are going to get down into the tuning of your bow basics first 1. Starting with the limbs they must be maxed out, tighten them all the way in and mark them at that point with a bright type marker, Finger nail polish works. 2. Evenly turn out (unscrew The bolts) and make sure the pocket does not have any limb lock nuts, if it does you will have to losen them. Again watch how far you unscrew them do not take the limb out past the edge of the pocket it sits in. keeping the turns even. Now adjust the pounds with these two bolts.

Make sure at this point you have good limbs, that there is no twist in them or any lean to one side. Look down the cam and see if it is straight with the string it must go the same direction as the string. Look at the cam and see if it is at a perfect 90 degree angle to the limb, if it is not you have problems. Do not go any farther. This is also a good time check for splits or feathers sticking up from the limbs. Feathers, little finger like splinters. 3. Having all this done put your bow in a press and do not press it down and use a laser to check the cams for lean caused by incorrectly twisted cables or bent axle or possibly a twist in the limb tip. Tune the cam to point directly at the other cam with no deviation left to right. * Now a one cam or a cam and a half has a problem here as the have only one end you can tune and it's by the upper cam. To turn the limb tip one way or another, press the bow and twist the cable end that makes it go,

Where you want it to go. Once you get all this done you can get down to work. On setting up your bow. This all after you are sure of your strings and cables, That they are new or changed every 2 years. Don't do this with 2 year old strings 4. Install your rest on the bow, square to the bow and level. Once that is done set the arrow height. A good place is even with the riser bolt hole. Making sure you have plenty of clearance under the arrow fletching. 5. Now set the center shot on the Rest this differs on a lot of bows and it's easier to have it done at a pro shop you trust. As the next two steps are critical that they are correctly done by an extremely good technician. Now make sure you have the correct arrow, all arrows do not work on your bow they have to be matched to your bow. And at a correct length.
